Era Alaska is an airline serving 101 destinations throughout Alaska, with over 900 employee and operating more than 90 aircraft carrying an average of 1,500 passengers per day. 4D was initially used for tracking reservations, aircraft flight times and aircraft maintenance records. With Era's growth, the use of 4D expanded to include reservation agents, ticket counter agents, accounting and operations personnel handling all aspects of daily operations. While Era Alaska moved to the global Sabre ticketing system in order to link with other airlines around the world, 4D is still paramount to all tracking and manifesting of actual aircraft as well as freight and cargo operations. 4D is installed in all outstations, totaling over 150 workstations.
